The base with a panel of marquetry and bun feet. The 11-inch square brass dial with matted centre and ringed winding holes, silvered chapter ring signed Thomas Johnson Ratcliff Cross with half hour and quarter hour markers, Roman and Arabic numerals.
Seconds dial and calendar aperture. Twin cherub spandrels with foliate engraving to the border.
Eight day five pillar movement with countwheel striking on a bell.
