Attractive English mahogany five glass mantel clock, the silvered dial with engraved corner spandrels signed Simmons Fareham, with original blued steel hands. Hidden by the silvered sight ring above the XII is the slow-fast regulation and to the side of the III is a strike-silent lever.
The high quality eight day double fusee movement numbered 13764, the original gilt platform lever escapement has a gold balance. The five pillar movement also has Harrison's maintaining power and strikes the hours on a gong. The untouched mahogany case of excellent colour with ogee moulding and bevelled glasses to the sides and top.
