Good English Regency mahogany chamfer top and brass mounted bracket clock. The round convex painted dial is signed Jos. Hawkins Southampton with Roman hour numerals and blued steel hands. The eight day double fusee movement has an anchor escapement and strikes the hours on a bell, the backplate has an engraved border.
The untouched figured mahogany case of lovely colour with chamfer top and brass pineapple finial. Ripple mouldings and canted corners inset with brass, brass framed inset panels around the brass bezel with convex glass. Adjustable brass ball feet and brass ring handles to the sides above brass fish scale frets.
