A George II quarter striking three train bracket clock. The brass break arch dial has a silvered chapter ring with lozenge half hour divisions and a strike-silent subsidiary dial to the arch, matted centre with false pendulum aperture and calendar aperture. Cast indian mask spandrels and blued steel hands. The triple fusee six pillar movement with verge escapement, striking the quarters on six bells, the fully engraved backplate is signed Joseph Davis London.

The ebonised inverted bell top case with brass carrying handle, glazed break arch sides with pierced ebony sound frets above and sound frets to both the front and back doors.
