French petite sonnerie striking carriage clock in a Gorge case by Drocourt, Paris. Number 17005. Original platform lever escapement, striking and repeating on two gongs with strke/silent lever in the base. White enamel dial signed with retailers name, Lawson & Son, Old Steine, Brighton with Roman hour numerals and Arabic five minute numerals.
